counciil tax reduction low income and single occupancy?

in Cutting tax
I am about to move into a flat with a high tax band. It will only be me moving in so I am aware I can get a 25% discount. I earn 16,000 per year could I be entitiled to a further low income reduction? Anyone know by how much?

Go to your council's website. There should be an online form for you to apply.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
