Bah Lovefilm won't let me have the £20 voucher as i've previously been a customer (years ago!). I'll be cancelling shortly.

Ah, I was too, so I will wait for the e-mail to say I can't have it either. :(

Is this offer still live? Does the code still work?

    Thanks in advance :)

What details are they using to determine this? I signed-up with a different email address & card, so hoping that I'll be ok.

If I get the same email saying I can't have the voucher i'll cancel. :/

I signed up for the 30 day trial on the 26th of May, added 10 titles. Watched a Blu-ray over course of a few days, then popped it into post. After posting, same day, removed remaining titles from my list.
Several days later, phoned up to cancel account. 2 days later, still not cancelled, phoned again - this time, it was properly cancelled.
12 hours later, received email with £20 Amazon voucher :)

Not sure Greg, I used a different e-mail address and card too, but I wrote to them and asked when I would receive my Amazon voucher and they wrote back and said because I'd had a trial with them before at this address I wouldn't be eligible. :(

Ah, perhaps it was because the trial was linked to the address... I never had a 'trial' - I just joined a few years ago.

Still, it's weird cos I got my Amazon voucher yesterday. Spent it already to make sure it doesn't get cancelled!

Going to cancel my usual account next month after I've used all my free credits from the latest competition entries ;)

Just to update, they finally sent me my Amazon voucher. Was considering staying with them but, so peeved off with them. But yeah, got the voucher after more than 3 weeks (perhaps 23 days after) and cancelled shortly after. I managed to do it online after midnight so I didnt have to ring em and it kept asking if i was sure lol.

My flatmates considering signing up with them now but, I think they'd probably cancel the account as it's the same address?
