Just occured to me (soap makers)

That i may have been ripped off??
I bought some soaps off someone local to me,i bought to strawberry ones,there half strawberries and 10 choc biscuit ones which are the size of the inside of a cellotape roll,she charged me £16
Does this sound expensive??

    Didn't you know the price beforehand?

    Surely you would have and would have known whether they were expensive or not.

    I used to buy handmade soap and they were between £2 and £3 each.

    Yes i knew the price beforehand but it was only when i got the soaps home i checked and they were small half strawberries,the biscuits are flat so not like a bar,there novelty soaps

    Im asking because i seen some whole strawberries on ebay 10 of them for £4

    I don't think you were ripped off as you should have known what you would be getting for your money, had you not seen the soaps before you'd paid/they were made?

    If not, then it's a lesson learned not to buy them again.

    Yes but she must have put the strawberries together so they looked whole and things always look different in pics,just seems that since ive looked elsewhere others are alot cheaper

    I wont be buying off her again thats for sure,was just easy as she was local
    Im just looking to see what other soap makers charge for the same things,just seems £16 is alot,only because ive looked i think ive been ripped off,i was ok paying it in the first place but now ive seen cheaper im unsure

    O right ok,i don't remember must have been a while ago and just to clarify the only swiss roll cloths i have seen are the ones in the flannel thread on here which is where i copied the idea from :)

    Any more feedback about the soaps from anyone would be much appreciated
