    I know one of the founders, so took the time a while ago to look into it and find out what the plan was.

    They have a video which sums it up pretty good. Basically, its people power. On the main page, https://www.flubit.com click on the "Why become a flubitron" video on the right hand side, it then goes into detail. And its voiced by the actor who played "Soap" in Lock Stock :)

    looks like they're hoping to be a discount club where if you & enough other people say you want to buy something they get shops/companies to offer exclusive reductions in the hope of getting loads of sales from members + a stupid name & some wackyness.
