Only have 5 weeks to complete remortgage to avoid erc.Help!!

Need to complete a remortgage within 5 weeks to avoid paying a very hefty early repayment charge.:( Basically need this new mortgage in my name only ,whereas current one is in joint names- split with husband last year.Can't borrow enough to take on current one with the lenders so have to get a quick remortgage .Who can i use to get it completed by end of June?

Are you sure another lender would offer you enough? Post details of oustanding level of mortgage and your income, and someone might be able to help. Otherwise, go and see a mortgage adviser as soon as possible.

Im not sure why It needs to complete quickly to *avoid* an early repayment charge......

ERCs apply until the end date of the mortgage product, so if yours ends at the end of June the you would NOT want to complete before that time?

Or do you mean something else?
