Very general question this.....
Do the prices on the Woolies / HMV sites reflect in-store prices .
Particularly games / dvd's
Obviously if it says WEB EXCLUSIVE then it's self explanatory but what about in general ??

I usually give my local store a quick call after checking the web prices, particularly if I'm shopping in Asda as they are often cheaper in store for dvd's.0

lately in my experience.............no
Just as an example, i bought 2 DVDs in HMV the other week for my daughter. Wizard of Oz and Peppa Pig. Both were £5 in store, which i thought was pretty good, until i looked at the website and one was £3.99 and the other was £4.99.
As HMV offer free delivery, it would have been cheaper to get them online.
Well at least i know now:D
Not sure about Woolies though0 -
HMV should generally be cheaper online as they have based it in jersey (like play.com) to avoid the VAT on items under £18.0

In London, the online - store prices are very different. More so, when they have their bi-monthly "Greatest ever" sales. A £3.99 online dvd would cost £5.99.0

yeah this makes the biggest difference. Online is virtually always cheaper. Although HMV are Guernsey not Jersey but same difference really.0 -
HMV's site is normally cheaper than in-store
For example I wanted to purchase the indiana jones boxset and a james bond dvd which is on the bogof deal
Online
Indiana Jones - £19.99
James bond DVD's (BOGOF) - £12.99
In-store
Indiana Jones - £29.99
James bond DVD's (BOGOF) - £15.990
