Substitute for Tigi Fashionista shampoo

My favourite shampoo has been discontinued
I used to buy the 750ml bottles, it lasts me for AGES! (just finishing the 2nd lot, 1st bought november 2008!) so I'm not worried that it was expensive, but just wondering if anyone knows what the best sub for it is of their new ones?
My hair is just about shoulder length, straight, in good condition (although is colour treated, and more recently dyed at home rather than salon, so possibly slightly drier than it was) rarely use heat on it (might use irons once every couple weeks, more on holidays)
Hairdresser said that the Urban antidotes re-energise for normal hair was probably the best one, they don't seem to do a colour one anymore-do you beauty gurus agree?
Thanks in advance

Have you tried
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Ddrugstore&field-keywords=+Tigi+Fashionista+shampoo+&x=16&y=18Nicotine Free since 01.08.2010 :j:j:j
Sealed Pot Challenge member 1097 2011 £1024.78 :T
I feel the two are connected0 -
Yeah, I have found the occasional bottle-but at £20 for 750ml conditioner, and £18 for 350ml shampoo, it makes it a wee bit too expensive (paid £20 for 750ml shampoo and conditioner before) so I was hoping to get the nearest thing to it, at about the £20 for both mark0

Have you tried TK Maxx? Can be hit-and-miss as to weather or not they have any in but do seem to sell in massive massive sizes and for value prices.
Other then this, websites like georgousshop, lookfantastic, feelunique and hqhair may have stock in and sometimes if you look on ebay you can find well known stores in the outlet section selling the stuff.0 -
Thanks, I tried TK maxx last week, and no luck with the fashionista, and have checked all the usual sites, and unless I am prepared to spend at least £20 for each 750ml bottle (and even then-its hard to find 750ml shampoo-so thats about £15 for 300ml)
so it looks like I will have to change to one of the bedhead ones-does anyone have experience of the re-energise? Its what my hairdresser recommended for my hair, but it doesn't say its for coloured hair, so I wanted to check here as you all seem so knowledgeable0 -
I have just started using the Tigi Rockaholic shampoo and conditioner which does protect coloured hair I 've found that it works well on coloired hair which can also vary between dry and greasy0

Thank you
Does this one smell nice? I might give it a go-sounds good

Ive just started using Self Absorbed in the Bedhead range - I have coloured hair and so far it's pretty good. I can't see fashionista but I recommend CheapSmells.com for prices on Tigi products - for instance the 750ml. bottle of self absorbed shampoo is £10.95.
I started to use this website when someone on here posted up that they were doing Tigi for 50% off.0 -
TJHughes seems to stock fashionista. HTH0

TJ hughes only has the 250ml conditioner, at £8, so a bit too pricey... Thanks for the tip re Self-absorbed-I might try that next time. I bought the Rockaholic one-750ml bottles of shampoo and conditioner for £17.95 from active beauty, +£1.06 topcashback
Fingers crossed its nice!

If your looking for alternatives there are many. I used to love TIGI and despite my coloured hair would mainly use the pink shampoo (supersomethingorother!!) I then tried Aveda, accidentally really but decided it worked better for me. I have since been lucky enough to be given (long story don't ask you'll be bored!) Kerastase stuff and found I like that even more! But did decide to go for Pureology which is only for coloured hair, it has so far been the best brand I've used. In my hair-travels I've also tried Bumble and Bumble, Goldwell and many others and do think that for me the difference between salon and highstreet brands is too large to not continue adding this stuff to birthday lists! I think once you try the stuff you really notice the difference if you ever have to switch back to highstreet stuff. Therefore as much as I'd suggest trying other brands, be aware that you may notice the quality change with cheaper brands. I did at any rate.
Safe to say there are many other brands out there which are IME/IMO better then TIGI so don't be afraid to venture out and try new things. The world (or salon/boots..etc) is your oyster!
I'd also add that when it comes to fading, its really the water a lot of the time. Sulfates in shampoos can add to this and make it worse yes, but the lime and chlorine which is naturally high in UK water is really what adds damage.
You can help by adding a water filter but its so expensive and other then this I'd suggest using a colour depositing shampoo to help. Using one has made a big difference to my hair, I sway between the Superdrug wash-in-wash-out colours which I could swear are the exact same thing as the Wella shaders and toners, they come in little grey bottles, last about 5 washes and are 99p. I find I can get away with using them every other wash or even every third wash, they really make a difference. Or sometimes Aveda's own colour depositing shampoo for my hair shade. Expensive but a treat, I still have the first bottle I bought a year ago as you only need a little, need to use more frequently then the Superdrug version though but leaves my hair with a nicer shade.
Bumble and Bumble also do colour depositing shampoos and I am sure other brands also do. This wiuld then free you up to switch to an occasional other shampoo inbetween washes with the depositing stuff and also freedom to use your own conditioner: you really don't need to stick to the same titled conditioner as shampoo (ie any TIGI would be fine) or even any brand for that matter, experiement with things, you could be suprized0
