Which Quorn products are available?

We've just had mint & rosemary 'lamb' grills which were very nice, although in texture more like steamed chicken. I gather there are 'diced chicken' pieces which we could use in curries and stirfries. We're moving more and more towards vegetarian options. Can anyone give a run-down/recommendation on which other Quorn products are available which we could try? I did try the Quorn website but couldn't get it to load.

Though not quorn, we like the RealEat mince (frozen) or the VegiDeli mince (refrigerated). RealEat mince is available at Tesco, VegiDeli mince at Holland & Barrett. Both very versatile and can be used in lasagne, tacos, moussaka, chilli etc. I would think the Quorn mince would be just as versatile.
Also really like the VegiDeli sausages (lincolnshire or marjoram & sage)... also at H&B. And for sandwiches, the VegiDeli sage & onion or "beef" slices, which are available at Morrisons for the bargain price of 89p or 99p per packet (enough for three sandwiches). DH and I had the Quorn "chicken" roast once at someone's house (we rarely buy Quorn ourselves as none of it is vegan), and thought it was really nice.
I want to move to theory. Everything works in theory.0 -
I quite like the Quorn lemon and black pepper fillets - they kind of resemble chicken fillets covered in breadcrumbs
The Quorn pieces I tend to use in place of chicken in dishes that have quite a lot of flavour to them - so things like curries or spicy mexican dishes. I also use the Quorn mince in bolognaise and lasagne etc...0 -
If you enjoy a roast dinner, try the quorn roast. (Sells for around £2.99) Cooks from frozen in around 45 minutes.
I have one vegetarian in the family, but all my kids love this, and I cook it quite regularly and serve it with all the usual roast dinner trimmings. Any left over can be used cold sliced on sandwiches with salad or whatever.0 -
The 'chicken' (breadcrumbed) burgers are really good, we also cut them into strips and have them in a wrap, KFC style.
'Chicken' nuggets/dippers are yum too (though a bit pricey IMO)
The pieces are great in curry, sweet n sour, mexican fajitas etc.
The mince is probably the most non-veggie-friendly, i've fed it to my carnivore brother in spag bol and he inhaled it
Use in lasagne, spag bol, chilli, shepherds pie etc.
The sausages are okay, i think they're a bit bland though boyfriend loves them, i prefer the Cauldron brand. (cauldron also do gorge nut burgets, really really yum)0 -
I buy lots of Quorn products, especially the diced chicken flavour ones, or the mince for my bolognese sauces.
They do some good sausages too but I prefer to get the Cauldron tofu ones.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
We like the Quorn pies for Sunday dinner, which I buy at Tesco.
I am now vegetarian but previously ate meat pies and find the Quorn pies very authentic.0 -
I love the garlic mushroom topped grills, but only buy them when they are on BOGOF or half price in TescosOne day I might be more organised...........

Hubs and I are both veggie and have been for years.
Here's what we've had regularly over the past few years.
- quorn roast - and we have this for xmas dinner
- quorn pieces - use in curries, caseroles, stews etc
- quorn mince - use in spag bol, chill etc though I find it expensive and prefer dried soya mince
- quorn southern fried burgers - yummy with mayo in baps or with chips and beans
- quorn deli chicken slices for sandiwches
- quorn fillets - cook from frozen in microwave in a covered dish in about 3 minutes, lovely with gravy and mash etc or with tomatoey sauce over with noodles
- quorn swedish style meatballs - lovely with tomatoey sauce with spaghetti or noodles - hubs thinks its too realistically meaty
- quorn lemon and pepper fillets someone else mentioned, yummy
- fillets in povencal sauce, very tasty thought the plain fillets with some ragu are as nice and much cheaper
- quorn and mushroom pies are GORGEOUS
Thats all I can think of for now! Looks like we are keeping them in business lol
