Maybe they are just playing catchup to block the multiple codes.

The site accepts them but when you try an process payment at the end it always failed for me due to a "technical error". I could only use the code for an Elemis set and 10% off

I ordered an aftershave/deoderant set by Loewe. The box it came in was massive. 2ft by 1ft by 1ft. But the deoderant can had a large dent in the side. Sent an e-mail saying that I would be willing to keep the set for a 50% refund of the selling price. Failing that I would send the whole thing back for a refund.

Has anyone actually received any deliveries from them? I ordered a Molton Brown gift set on 11 December, and got a receipt saying that I got the 30% off, and the money went out of my account the same day.

I haven't heard from them since, and today I called to ask when it would be delivered, and I was told that the order's been put on hold because I've used unauthorised codes, and that I could either pay the item in full or I can cancel and they'll refund the money.

They don't even have the courtesy to send an email to let you know that 1) they have happily taken your money, but 2) they are not going to deliver your item!!! What a disgrace!

I received my stuff last Wednesday, at the price with the 30% discount. It was all fine until I decided to sniff the American Crew hairwax (bought for OH), only to discover it had clearly been used!!:eek:

About one quarter of it was gone, with great big finger holes in it! I rang them and they said they were very sorry indeed and would send me one out to replace it that day; it duly arrived within 24 hours. However, they politely requested that I send the faulty one back in a prepaid box. Had to trek back to PO to get proof of posting and it was a bit of a mither with the baby!

Would hesitate to order off company again that sends out used products, no matter how discounted...

I have used them several times without problems to buy presents for the OH, but having read some of these complaints I may look elsewhere in future!

I've watched the posts on this forum for a while now, and yes I used some of these codes to get 20% off at Mankind. However some of the posts I have read have been thoroughly ungrateful & verging on greedy! 30-50% off and wanting more... wow :eek: !

Not sure why!!
Their markup is ridiculous! And besides that they pay affiliates 10%!!! And another 5% can be had back in their "loyalty" scheme. So that would suggest all the prices are inflated by a minimum of 15%. So in reality their profit margins are going to be upwards of 30-50% off, so i don't see why peopleare "ungrateful" or "greedy" for trying to reduce the price to as near to a cost price as possible. Surely the free market that operates in this country works both ways - is it "greedy" for them to try and make a profit? Surely, not! In which case how is it "greedy" for people to try and reduce their outgoings by maximising their savings!!!!

Besides they've known about potential problems with overlapping voucher codes for months and yet they are too inept and incompetent to bother to do anything about it - instead only disappointing customers and potentially breaching contracts by letting it go all the way through as an order and cancelling it later!!!

It seems the majority of the codes have been cancelled (so their overpriced and grossly inflated prices can no longer be reduced to a more sensible level) - but "TEN10" still currently works for 10% off.
