can anyone tell me what these are?

Can anyone tell me what the bits coming out of this cake with the stars on and curly ribbon are called? I need to buy some but have no idea what to search for.

    Hi
If you mean the wire they are cake wires you can but these from any baking shops they are thin coated wire used for placing icing shapes etc on. Some people use florist wire however I never have as I dont trust sticking them into cakes. If you want to use florist wires you could always tick a platic straw into the cake first then the wire in to the straw.

Here are some on ebay this may help

or I am sure hobbycraft do them but are wuite expensive.

The decorations are stuck onto the end of sugar craft wire, which should not be stuck directly into the cake, they should be held in a cake pick, which is like a plastic holder that you push into the cake first- a bit like arranging flowers in a vase.
