Interest only vs Repayment calculator with overpayments

Howdy Folks,

I've just converted an old perl/cgi script calculator I did a few years back into a javascript version. I've got some free webspace that can't run cgi scripts, hence the conversion. I thought this might be useful to someone.

The original script was built 'cos there didn't appear to be any calcs that dealt with interest only vs repayment type mortgages that allowed overpayments and/or one off payments all in one display. We were in a tither not long ago as to what to do with our own failing endowment ie cash it in and pay that into a new repayment type mortgage, or what.

We also wanted to see what difference it made to make some regular monthly overpayments at the same time, ie money and/or time saved.

If anyone is interested (pun unintended! ) in having a play, please be my guest.

Have fun!
I'm NOT political so DON'T correct me!
