    Thanksfor the advice
I don't enter comps for dvds kids toys books etc as they would be no use to me as i don't have kids and i feel it is unfair on others that want them.
Im just wishing for a laptop win as soon as i get/win one lol i will post comps too.
I only get an hour a day in my library and i use this time for job searching.
I will keep my fingers crossed for both the job and the win lol
Thanks and good luck to you aswell.

Don't give up! When that first win arrives (and it will arrive) then it will feel great!

To keep motivated, keep entering little competitions with lots of prizes so you stand a decent chance - and hopefully you'll win big now and then!

its hard to win a biggie comp so i am happy with the little wins that i have won. i wont give up cos i would just be on facebook socialising if i was not trying on the comps, so i may as well try and win something. i live in hope. i enter at least 100 a day. im a touch typist and have roboform so i can do the comps quite quickly xx

Ah lovely thank you very much, sending lots of luck back :)
  • The Comping fairy seems to know exactly when I'm giving up hope of winning (and sometimes hope of bettering my life at all: my job is misery making, my salary is a disgrace, and I'm stuck up to my eyeballs in debt :( ) and am thinking of quitting... normally, just as I'm thinking of stopping comping I get a win to keep me going :D Or maybe the comping fairy waits until I REALLY need the buzz of winning to cheer me up.

For example, end of January, about to quit comping, won a netbook. Mid April, about to quit comping again, won an ipad and a trip to Cannes film festival in one day... This week, was despairing over the fact this will be my first summer without a festival in about a decade, and then I won some festival tickets...

For me, it's only partially about actually winning stuff, it's really about keeping hope and excitement alive at a time in my life when hope and excitement are in short supply, and in that sense comping is doing exactly what I need it to do :)
January: Jolibook netbook. :DFebruary: Nothing :(March: May fortune smile upon me! Thanks to all the Comp posters & good luck everyone
