Have had no problems with the official wired one myslef apart from nearly ripping the wire out by accident, apparantly if you phone Microsoft on the freephone number the replace the headset for you
Have had no experience of the other headsets but the Datel one looks decent and have had Datel products in the past that have been good0 -
Well, after much thought I decided that I may try and get a replacement as I am unhappy at spending even more money on a headset. Microsoft agreed to send me out a replacement headset which will be with me in 10-15 working days. Thanks Slowen for the advice!"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

No problem, did they offer the replacement straight away or did you have to haggle with them to give you one?
I have heard people on the xbox foums receiving free pads and wireless netwrok adapters as well from Microsoft, don't know if they just said they were faulty but it saves buying new stuff if Microsoft will just replace it for you0 -

I just explained to them that the headset was faulty and that the mic was loose and that this was the third I had bought and she said no problem and sent out a new one. I also have a faulty wireless pad that I will try and get replaced after christmas!"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,
