Returning a DTD item to Tesco

I bought an electrical item in Tesco and was overcharged but got DTD back :T but now I'd like to return the item. The receipt wasn't marked but I did use my Tesco credit/club card. Will they refund the full amount I paid or can they tell that I received DTD for the overcharge?

no they can't tell, but even if u got dtd u still paid for the item so don't worry take it back0

Don't forget they will need to refund it onto the CC you paid for it with, that is normal and not because they suspect you of anything!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

You should think of it as:
You paid full price.
The DTD was a goodwill gesture independent of the purchase to apologise for overcharging you.0 -
I was worried they could tell I had already received a partial refund and would only give me the difference.0
