Tutti Frutti Ice Cream!

Does anyone know of any supermarkets that stock tutti frutti or cassata flavour ice cream?

I had some ice cream that was cassata flavour in a restaurant and it was exactly like tutti fruiti, bought back many memories and I'm craving more now!

I understand its probably not as in demand as it was about 25 years ago but surely someone still makes it? I've tried making my own and its just not the same - there's something about that synthetic fruit flavour that I just can't replicate at home!

Any ideas on where I might find this retro ice cream?

I guess the likes of Haagen Dagz and Ben and Jerrys were just too much competition.:(

Sounds like he or she has tried to make their own already.

Maybe Costco is worth a try or sometimes farm shops have unusual flavours by small ice cream makers.

I remeber when I was about 8 someone bought me one and I hated it but was too polite to say I didnt like it, permenantly scarred me for life.

Hi we make Tutti Fruiti here at summer meadows icecream, and yes a flavour that needed to be revivied, we supply farmshops in hertfordshire.

Sidoli still do it, but looks like only in catering sized packs. Takes me back to about 1985
