Help - need Plastic Christmas Wall Plaques Quick!

Help....

We held a youth disco on Friday at the local community centre and the heat and humidity caused the plastic Christmas santas and snowmen plaques bluetacked to the walls to fall off and they got trampled. The caretaker told me that they were about 20 years old - which made me feel even more guilty!

I need to replace them but despite visiting nearly every shop that sell Christmas decorations in Taunton and Wellington that I could think of I didn't find any. Does anyone know where I can get some either locally or off the Internet??

The placques are made of very thin moulded plastic - they used to be very common a few years ago.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions??

its not a very traditional christmas one, but i got a winnie the pooh one last year from woolworths, i wasn't looking for any other characters but they might have some, hope this helps!

I havent seen any as such but most of my shopping has been internet based this year.

This sort of stuff usually surfaces in shop such as - poundland - wilkinsons or in some town and cities you get christmas shops that open just for a few months - If I were you I would take an hour to ring round any of the shops that people may suggest on here today and it will save you lots of stress trawling from shop to shop.

The misses says she saw some smaller ones but cant remember where so they are still around. What size are the damamged ones Im guessing they would be the larger ones.

Thanks for the response - I had a look in Wilkinsons yesterday but they didn't have any. I also thought they might be in the cheaper shops but no such luck.

The ones I've looking for are about 18" by 9 ".

I will take your advice and ring round today - I've seen some on Ebay but that will be a last resort.

They do relatively small plastic christmas ones in Asda. They're plastic plaques. However, if you own up and buy as many things as you can find to replace them, they might be grateful you replaced them..... if you're lucky ;-)
