Loan Help
Hi
Im looking for a debt consolodation loan of around £2500 - £3000 but the trouble is i need the loan to pay my debt but building up this debt over the years has resulted in me having bad credit which means getting one loan to pay the others off seems so hard to do as i get turned down for having bad credit.
is there any companys that deal in this and accept bad credit?
also im with the halifax bank and i owe them £1000 as i am in my overdraft will they be tempted to lend me the money if it means that this £1000 will be paid?
Any help Would be appreciated
Thank You

You are probably going to struggle to get a loan.
It really depends on what you mean by bad credit - do you have missed payments? defaults? CCJs?
How many applications have you made recently?
How much do you earn currently?
how much are your current total debts and any unused credit? lenders will always treat a new loan as additional credit on top of all your existing debts (in case you don't consolidate and just spend the new loan).
If the overdraft with halifax is always in an overdraft position of £1k then I would think they'll be less likely to lend you money, as they won't think you can afford the repayments.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
