I thought mortgages where fine, just the house prices where too high.
I would also like to point out that its the landlords that force FTB's to enrich landlords, they are the ones buying everything and they are the ones rising rents to feed there own greed...

this keeps on being said on here without it being backed up by anything credible apart from random blogs on the internet or a post from HPC.co.uk
I've got a weird but true story about HPC.
I'm back in UK for a holiday. I visited my friends at the company I used to work at. A guy who still works there introduced me to the HPC site. He's an uber bear.
I asked him if he was still a member?
He told me he is but was put on moderator watch 2 weeks ago and cant post. Also another one of his friends the same.
He reckons the only thing it could possibly be was he sounded a bit negative last time he posted. Along the lines of 'Is it really going to happen'.
Sounds like they are tightening up. You need to be a real nutter to be able to post. No other views welcome. Not even slightly negative.
I cant see the point of belonging to a site where everyone must agree. They obviously know they would lose an argument with bulls. We love Sarah O Grady0 -

Nice one DervProf, its good to see 'A few good men' standing up to hold back the HPI rampers.0 -
what it doesn't say is that FTBs were pushed out of the market in favour of BTL investors, i'm waiting for anyone to prove that.0 -

you are a bit slow aren't you.0 -
a HPI ramper? is that because i don't believe property will crash and i like to rip the pi$$ out of you?

You are denying the evidence in front of your eyes. Property is crashing as we speak. The party is over. Sell up and rent, invest your money in shares and rake it in. Stop wasting your time trying to talk up the market.0 -

Do you really need that proven?
And before we go any further.....what would be acceptable "proof"? As I don't personally believe anything will be acceptable, in the quest to argue against it.0
