Depends on the make of watch. Being a stainless steel watch doesn't mean much (for example, a gold watch would be of value whatever the make)

Stainless steel is fairly valuable as a scrap metal but a watch wouldnt be worth much.

I got £11 for a large piece of stainless steel recently (about 2 foot long )

One watch is a DKNY watch and the other one I dont know which make it is but it has a Body Shop stamp on it.

Who did you sell it to?

I can't imagine a merchant would buy those watches (the cost price for them is very cheap, even though DKNY are nice watches). You might be best off trying them on ebay. Most jewellers I know of (and I work for one) will normally only buy up-market brands (Rolex, Cartier, etc)

Yeah, I would second that - ebay is probably the way to go.

    I got 1.83 for a DKNY stainless watch :(

to be fair ot only cost 39.99 on sale from my local Hugs jewellers

Unless it is top spec stuff nobody was interested, I had 1 watcher all week and only 1 rival bidder in the last ten minutes.
    Sorry
