Just submitted my second article. I had better get a good rating for it because it took me ages - serves me right for choosing something I knew practically nothing about. :p
If the number of jobs keeps up as it is, it's looking like it is a very good investment of time - a lot better than completing surveys. Also, I'd rather learn about things and write articles than sit for half an hour answering inane questions about canned soup.

How many words did you write for your article? I'm never sure how many to write - presumably 400 words is the minimum guide and you're supposed to aim for higher for a better rating? I've only done about 600 on my latest.. hope it's enough.

Yeah, looks like Vivatic forgot about my test submission. I haven't had any replies by email, and the test is now offline...

Guess I'll try again next time?

I thought the same, so my articles were both around 600 words. It did say to write as 'succinctly' as possible in the list of specifications, so I don't think they're looking for anything a lot longer. It's difficult to tell though - it's awfully vague, so I just hope what I've written is what they want.

I think with the limited instructions you get, all you can do is write it and hope that it's accepted. I received 4/5 on my writing test and I study English at University; however I only got 3/5 on my first article, and have two pending approval..

    Hopefully those will be higher.

I got 4/5 and did literally just over 400 words so I doubt a higher word count makes mug difference to your score. I think it unlikely they give out many if any 5s

I think for my first it was 418 words and I got a 4/5. I would rather stick with between 400-450 words that do more as I have been known to waffle in the real world, so dont want to do that on paper

I just got another approved on the subject of 'Guttering' heh. 4/5 for that, that's more like it =]

Just sent off my third article, but still waiting for the confirmation (hopefully not rejection) of the second. Assuming all goes well, I should have a payout of £15.00 by the time they are both accepted. Not bad for a couple of hours' work. :)
