I have ended up with money still left in the bank at payday(albeit only £12 but still)! :j
Have only sent one DMP payment and not sure everyone is onboard as of yet but knowing I have no credit card to fall back on and have to budget and cut back to live within our means has meant that I have proven we don't need credit to live!
It hasn't been an easy month as Mr T has suggested doing things and we realise quite despondently that we cannot afford it as we need to get to the end of the month, but it has given us a completely different mind set. I cannot wait to get paid tomorrow to budget, put money aside and work out how much has gone off the debt.
I was so so scared only a month or so ago, but the relief of being in control is fantastic, If it wasn't for this site and people's advice I would still be robbing Peter to pay Paul. Thank you!

Thank you - it's a fantastic feeling. I've become quite pathetic this week at challenging to see how much we could have left in.
We don't feel deprived by our budgeting, it has balanced well and I am liberated by no overdraft

Improves your well being immeasurably!0 -
It is completely priceless

Paid today, budgeted to the penny and we have moved the excess left to our spare account to build up a treat account - which is a brilliant idea - thank you.
Now we have a challenge to try and leave £24 in before next payday and I'm determined!0
