  • Bottles of wine! They have some excellent deals on at the moment in Tescos (I think it was there anyway) with many bottles half price and also 25% off when you buy 6 bottles or more.

there are also 3 bottles of cava in asda for £10. Go n have a look around the supermarket sites for deals.where I used to work was a smallish company, my boss used to get different gifts for males/females, but half the time it was something we didnt like, and it was like OH THANKS BOSS!!!!!. the only time the company got it right was with booze funnily enough!!

Make sure that none of your staff are teetotal first though - a few years back I got a bottle bought from work - and I don't drink (religious reasons)
  • one of my bosses used to give us a scratch card in our xmas card and we thought this was fab - you could even add one of those mini box of chocs such as lindt etc for 99p. they would be much appreciated

How about a £10 voucher from your local supermarket - that way everyone could get something they wanted.

I gave mine diarys (not company ones) choccys (all had sweet tooths) and girly things as all female and knew them all very well, when I had mainly male staff they each got can or mini bottle of their fav drinks, cigars if they smoked, chocolate if sweet tooth and a stop smoking patch if appropriate...........as big anti smoking fiend...............3 of them took the hint and have given up now.

    How about these: http://www.thorntons.co.uk/ThorntonsSite/product/Christmas%20Collections_Christmas%20Gifts/9816.htm

My local store gave me 50p of each pack and 2 free boxes of other chocolates.
