BIK taxes

Hi,

A previous tax year's BIK were incorrectly calculated by HMRC (due to my employer's incorrect P11D submission).

I wrote to HMRC to highlight the error and declare that I was concerned that I owed some tax on subsistence payments. They responded to my letter but do not appear to have considered the issues I raised, instead only taxing me according to the (incorrect) P11D.

The P11D has since been re-submitted by my employer and I have received a rebate from HMRC. However, I think I might actually owe HMRC some tax, which I clearly detailed in my original letter.

Question: Do I write again to HMRC? Or is this their problem to sort out as and when they get around to it?
