I've just started again after a 5 month break! The break was definitely needed! Not won anything...yet!

aww i know how you feel i have not won very much in the last 6 months, so i decided to give up for a while, cos i have heard people say that sometimes helps, have a rest and come back refreshed and the wins come flooding in,..... i stopped for a week then got a wem to say that i had won a years supply of lingerie and jumped back into comping immediately!!! lol, that has been the best win this year, since then i have won 10 erasers! and a £20 international calling card... hmmmm they didnt really come flooding back in but i was only off for a week!

Hi. I hope your luck changes soon, have a break and hopefully the prizes will start coming. I don't win much, have won some cereal and a scarf but I was thrilled with those and they do make a difference, I do just enjoy entering and dreaming though!!!! I will keep my fingers crossed and hope the comping fairy pays you a visit soon.

I must admit, i think it does get a bit addictive but when you are not winning it gets really annoying have a lovely holiday (lets hope you come back to a win) and start afresh.

I took a "break" from comping, but mine lasted 2 years :rotfl:.

Seriously though, if comping is becoming a chore and you're not enjoying it, then take a month out and come back refreshed and ready for all those lovely wins you will get.

HI! Can i just ask.. for all those lucky people who have regualr wins.. how often would you say you enter competitions? Do you look on the thread everyday and enter as many as possible? And is there any kind of knack to entering the good ones?
Just ive been randomly entering some and have never won as much as a magazine so like the OP i am ready to give up too!
