BCW Legal notification Advice please!!

Morning

I hav an outstanding debt with lloyds which I believe is SB I have been chased for past 7 months by AK offering me big discounted F&F for settling the account. Advice from was told to ignore the letters as was a fishing trip as AK buy SB debts and attempt to enforce them, which I did.

Today I have recieved a letter from BCW stating legal notification and telling me that despite repeated requests for payment blah blah blah and now documents can be prepared for the issue of a claim against you in your local court.

They go on to ask me to call them to make payment or offer monthly DD payments and have enclosed a DD mandate.

Now do I continue to ignore this or do I send the SB Template letter. I am 99% sure it is SB but if I send the letter and its not, have I then acknowledge the debt?

As alway very grateful for your help & advice

Andy
