New legislation only applies to transmitters which are CE-marked by the way. Dunno if this one is, obviously on sale before the change but I'm sure they didn't just start testing and approving in the last week.

I just pulled that off the email dabs sent me. I don't think it matters if its ce marked or not, 1000's of people buy the crappy ones off ebay and they are are from ce marked or tested, I don't think a big company like belkin UK will sell you something there not. I had a belkin, bought from USA a few years back and that was the best build quality you can expect.

  • This really is a good deal. It was advertised today by Argos for £29.99 and is currently £21.98 at ebuyer.
Including vat and delivery it's £18.24.
These type of things have been around for years outside the UK, but they just changed the law to allow legal use of them here.
Simply plug in your MP3 player and tune your car's FM radio to it. No wires (unless you want to run the transmitter from the car's cigarette lighter) and no hassle.
