Struggling to decide

    Hi Kaz

Well done, I'm sure that you've made the right choice. It is hellishly scary when you first decide to go into the DMP - but to be honest - once things are sorted out you feels so relieved. My situation was very similar to yours, trying to balance and juggle, having no real 'money' as such and relying on cards to survive. I'm now a strictly cash sort of girl and I feel in control.

Hope things get better for you in 2007. On a positive note, just think, this time next year you will definately owe less than you do now. When was the last year that you could say that? I don't think I had a single year in my adult life where I reduced my debt until I started on the DMP.

    Have a great Christmas!

Cheers whatatwit! I'm so glad you told me because I was begining to wonder if I needed to list everything - and believe me my grocery receipt is usually very long as I mostly try to cook from sctratch!
Madduck - thank you for your support again. I think last night was the first night in ages that I actually went to bed without trying to work out what route to take as I drift off.
If the companies agree to freeze the interest then I'm sure I'll feel much better as the balance will go down. At the moment it's the fear that the interest is going to stay and the balances continue to increase despite the DMP that is concerning me. Fingers crossed for a good result!
Off to set an alarm to remind me to call the CCCS at 8 to make sure they don't send my details to another house by mistake!
