Quite pleased with myself. Have come back from WH Smith with the above collection of books for 99p less 20% discount making a grand total of 79p. You can't actually see the contents of the books as they (3) are in a cardboard sleeve The original price was supposed to be £17.97 but each booked has £9.99 on it.
Might make a nice stocking filling for someone newly married who is into foreign cooking. I really shouldn't have bought it (but who could resist at 79p) because I have loads and loads of lovely cookery books but do try to do several new recipes each week.
The books are Ken Hom Simple Chinese Cookery, Madhur Jaffrey Simple Indian Cookery and Ken Hom Simple Thai Cookery.
Hope this helps someone solve a Christmas present and also hopefully it is a nationwide reduction.
