Hi Guys
I was just looking at Lifetime Tracker Mortgages at HSBC. Can anyone suggest other competitive providers for Tracker Mortgages?
E.g. HSBC Lifetime Tracker Standard, 80% LTV, tracks Bank of England Base Rate + 2.49%.
What is the most competitive tracker rate anyone has seen? Shame I couldn't afford a mortgage when it was BoE + 0.5%.
Thanks for any help.

i have not seen any betterThe word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.0 -
Have you looked at first direct offset trackers?0

I know it doesn't help you but my rate is currently BR + 0.28% on a 75% mortgage taken out with Woolwich/Barclays in August 2006 when we moved. I've saved around £10,000 since the rates fell to where they currently are. It seemed a bit of a gamble at the time but felt it was worth the risk and I'm glad I did it now, I know rates will go up soon and have thought about getting a fixed rate out but my Financial Advisor (friend) is of the opinion that the rates won't go up to where the current fixed rates are so it's not worth changing at the moment.
I hope you get a good deal0 -
Thanks for all the responses so far ... I will also take a look at the First Direct website.
