Kinross Sunday Market/butcher??

Anyone been to Kinross market recently? Is the butcher auction guy still there? Looking to fill up my freezer with meat and the auction at inross used to be reasonable but not worth the journey just to see if he is there So anyone any recent experience?

Sorry Lilacpixie cant help, havent been to Kinross for a while. I can recommend Donald Russell, but he is expensive unless his stuff is on offer. Just last week I got lovely steak mince at £22 for 8lb. It all comes in pound packs in freezer boxes.
I notice you are Tayside if you are looking to fill your freezer and are needing chicken I can highly recommend the Chicken Factory shop in Coupar Angus. Their grade 'A' fresh chicken fillets come in 5kg boxes at £5 per kg. I bought five to split between us in the office, and there were approx 36-38 fillets in each box. It was some sight us sorting out 180 fillets on our desks!!!!! Comparing this to tesco for instance is a great saving, I think their market value/blue stripey packs are around £7.80 per kg. pm me if you want more details as in general you are better phoning as somedays they only have whole chickens at........wait for it ....... 50p or a £1.

OOO Coupar Angus is only 10-12 miles away from me, i'm just outside dundee. I'll need to find out where it actually is
