Anyone tried the new Braun dual epilator (with razor)?

I've seen adverts for a new epilator by Braun which has a venus razor attached to it, so you run it over your leg and any hairs which the epilator don't get, get shaved off. It supposedly means that you only have to run the epilator over your leg once (for each section) which sounds fab as I have a very old epilator and it takes about 20-30 mins per lower leg to get all the hairs.

I know this means that all the hairs won't actually be epilated, and some will just be shaved, but I think the idea is that as you use the epilator each week, eventually it will get them all.

I'm tempted to buy one but at £95, it isn't cheap. Has anyone tried one? Any reports on how good it is and whether it does what it says on the box?

I seem to be a bit of a sucker for hair removal devices so don't want to fly into this if it's just going to get shoved in a drawer a few weeks down the line!

I have one, bought it a couple of weeks ago.Have only used it as an epilator not with razor attatchment. It is excellent. It seems to get all the hair quite quickly,a few minutes each leg.Have done underarms and bikini line as well.Very quick.I didn't see the point in trying the razor, when i was getting a good result without it.

Ok, have bought one... so much for not flying in :o

I read around the reviews on amazon and things too and they do seem really positive so I thought I might as well give it a go. It's charging up now. I will have to let the hair on my legs grow for a day or two and then will try it out when I'm in the bath.

It's good to hear that you think it's excellent suzymonkey, especially without even using the razor. Hopefully I won't be a huge wimp and can take the pain for the first few goes before it starts getting better.
