Free pictures and copyright free?

Hello

Not sure if a) this is a really silly question and b) if you can answer it on here.

I want to download some safari pcitures for free (making some cards). They have to be copyright free. I have googled but lots of the websites I've found say you need to buy credits.

Does anyone know where I can download copyright free pictures please :)

Thank you

If you just want outlines that you colour in yourself try here: http://www.123coloring.com/heroes/coloringpages,precious-moments,2.html
It's pages for kids colouring, but paste them into Word and size them to whatever you need. Some are a bit basic, but others are better. ;)

If you're after the proper pictures that's more difficult. Sometimes you have to pay a subscription, and others credits. I gave up trying when I wanted a particular image once.

Sorry I can't be of more use.

Thanks. It was proper pictures I was after really (although the colouring in ones will be useful too actually). Sometimes it is quite hard to find out what is copyrighted and what isn't.

Hi, I just put into google - "Free Stock Photos" and loads of sites came up.

Don't know how you go about it as I think some of them will still cost to use.

Theres some on the clipart of microsoft office you can use for free, and if you go into "google images" loads will come up and they work on an angel policy.

It will say on them if they`re copyrighted or not....most are not

I use the creativecommons.org. They list all the sites that allow you to use their pics after you type in the search box:):):)
