Hi,
Not sure if I should have bumped last years' post on this (03/05), as it is freebies gone but not forgotten, but childlocate is offering a 30day trial.
Why ChildLocate?
Not sure if I should have bumped last years' post on this (03/05), as it is freebies gone but not forgotten, but childlocate is offering a 30day trial.
Why ChildLocate?
1. It lets you locate your child in seconds, anywhere in the UK.
2. It gives you peace of mind and your child the independence they need
3. Once on board you can locate lost or misplaced phones
4. It could also help you care for other vulnerable loved ones, disabled, old, diseased or on their own.

In this day and age parents can't be too careful, especially over the festive season.

Could easily be abused and used as a car tracker, just need to duct tape a cheap phone to the bottom of a car! hmm can think of other uses aswell.0

I was just looking at it from a simplistic pov, I know that there are times in a parents life when panic sets in. They just have a feeling about something and just want to know where they are.
Has anyone used it? Does the child have to answer to phone to activate the search, this was from the website
"ChildLocate gives me the peace of mind of knowing where my two girls are (9 and 11 years old) without having to bother them with regular phone calls"
- Ellie, Surrey
The reason why I ask is that I plan to get a free superdrug phone and add childlocate to it, then drop it into my little girls changing bag, when she is away from me. She's too young to understand how to answer phone.
By no means am I saying I don't trust her other carers, but anything can happen in this day and age and she is my only child.0 -
a while ago something similar was put up on MSe and i tried it as you got so many free trials.. i used it both in aylebury and in peterborough,, i found that although it located the area she was in it didnt pinpoint exactly were and knowing the area they were telling me was about 3 miles squared i thought against buying it as i want to know a street or a smaller area.. i knew she was withing the 3 miles i wanted to know were in the 3 miles she was..kberry_78 wrote:I was just looking at it from a simplistic pov, I know that there are times in a parents life when panic sets in. this ones seems very similar having looked at it as its giving you an area not an exact locationThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
