Quick Question :)

Hi everybody,
Just a quick question Im hoping you can help me with. I have been renting a house with my partner for 2 and a hlaf years and have toyed around with the idea of being grown up and getting a mortgage, however being quite comfortable in our house (and probably a little lazy too!) have not really made any real efforts to get the ball moving.
Going to pay the rent today and Landlord has said he wants to have a word about a rent increase (what is it 2 weeks before Christmas??? Nice touch eh!) So anyway to stop the rambling its spurred us into action to see what we can afford mortgage wise. Sooooo when Im asked for my income do I include tax credit payments too? we are both working full time but tax credits do boost my income as its not too great!!
Also does anyone know of any mortgage calculators as the ones I am using vary a great deal or just want to take my number for a broker to contact me!
Sorry for rambling!

Some will accept Tax credits some will not. Also calculators vary from company to company.
Try

and check out their calculators. After all the searching life is what i make it!0 -
Nothing to do with the subject, but make sure you get a joint mortgage! I have been totally screwed over by my ex to the tune of a 5 figure fee cos the mortgage was in her name and I gave her money for the deposit, stamp duty, fees etc0
