Good morning lovely DFWs
Isn't it a beautiful day? The sun is shining, the birds are singing and I have had more than 5 hours of sleep! :j :j :j
Have done a little more packing this morning but we are now off out to buy things for the house. Primarily cleaning stuff but a few other bits too. Coming out of the joint spending so that's even better.
I have a mystery shopping assignment to do today too, which will mean free coffee for me
OH just opened his post to find he has been sent a credit card from Halifax  He doesn't use a credit card and if he were to use one, he'd get one for cachback. So annoyed they sent him one without applying for it!!! I asked him to ring them and give them hell  Doing so now
Right, that's it really. Off to spent lots of money so see you all later.
Have a lovely Saturday!

Hi Moozie
- glad to see you got a good night's sleep :T :T
I think it SHOULD be, if it's not already, ILLEGAL to send out Credit Cards if you haven't applied for them - I would be angry too!
Anyway - spent the morning writing Christmas Cards, as promised.
We've got our normal shop today - I have put the £1.55 that I saved from this week's challenge with the £1.40 from last week's challenge, and will use this to buy a bottle of wine as an 'extra' towards Christmas.
It's REAL money as I started both weeks with a £20 note and put all change in my drawer.
Hoping that the normal shopping spend is low, as we have already done most of the Christmas Shopping.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

Hi Moozie, What on earth are Halifax thinking of!! Hope your OH gave them an earbashing!
We have spent £85.34 at Tesco - very high but xtras like: bought batteries and some xmas sweet treats and a lot of meat on special offer.
£15.95 on petrol
£4.74 oil for the car
£1.20 to go and park in town
£139 for a second pair of glasses for work  ( has had to come out of our savings)
£8.50 for me and DD to go to family Yoga.
£115.73 total (not including specs) So out of our £150 weekly budget it leaves £35 for petrol and pocket money. SHould be doable.;)Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0 -
I had to go and get some birthday shopping! Why people have birthday's in December is beyond me, so inconsiderate of their parents to have been 'at it' around March time. They could have waited a few months!

I've spent £17.95 on his present, £1.99 on wrapping paper, and £5 on parking (t was charity parking, give what you want, and I thought...what the heck)
I did walk into Sainsburys to buy some snacks for lunch. Picked some stuff up and then persuaded myself just to use what was in the fridge, so quite pleased about that.matched betting: £879.63
