Do you always delete your posts once you have your answer?

    Clearly not if you check.

So, rather oddly, still no one has answered the question- 'please can someone tell me how to erase this/any post that i have made?'

Now, i asked politely and it is a simple request. I ask again- Please can someone tell me/help me?

Email forumteam@ moneysavingexpert.com and ask them if they will delete the thread/posts.

Log in, go to the post you want to delete, click on the "Edit" button at the bottom of the message, highlight your entire message, click the delete button on your keyboard and the message gets deleted.
Then you can just type "this post has been deleted" because it does not allow you to leave it totally blank, you have to type in atleast 10 words. Then click on "save changes" button at the bottom of the message.

What you can't do though is delete someone else's post so your first post is still available as a quote.

Can you see I deleted my post above bobbadobbabob?

No good asking a techie question on the loans board. This forum is about borrowing and lending.

eschaton, why do you ask about my friends? Is it a problem for you? I do apologise for seeming to have more friends that im willing to help than you have but what do you want, maybe for me to apologise?Or maybe you'll do an Alan Partridge on me and if i say i have 11 friends you'll say you have 12?:D

And as for the question of saving v Car finance.....I thank you all for your comments, i really do.
However, id love to know the big man's opinion on this (Martin Lewis, not God)....but im pretty sure i know what he'd say!Going back to my question of how to delete this post, do i have to explain it? I dont mean to sound rude but i genuinely mean it- Being a novice im not familair with deleting posts so am i able to do it myself or do i have to give a reason to you folks?Thank you in advance.

Either your 'friends' need to get their finger out and help themselves or you need to stop making them up.
