I loved the McDonald brothers version of Shang a lang on last weeks' X Factor.
One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.

    They were great, weren't they.
  • It is actually free in todays Scottish Sun. However it is not the original band with the original tracks. It is the reformed band where Les McKeown is replaced by a woman!!!! It is totally crap compared to the original tracks from 1974.

It reminds me of going to a wedding in a dreadful depressing place called Kilmarnock a few years ago. The band was poor most of the guests had either 6 fingers or 3 ears and I remember saying to the wife that we will probably get the Bay City Rollers next. Long and behold the next song was Shang-A-Lang.

Allegedly Shang-A- Lang is a cult classic in this Kilmarnock place and is often still played at nightclubs!!
  • If any of the original Roller fan's outfit photos are reviewed the perhaps !
