Asda currently have 20% off all their Xmas crackers, cards, decorations and wrapping paper
Don't know how long this lasts - usually it's only for the weekend. Couldn't find an SA who knew in store. But the 20% is off the marked prices. Cheapest item I found was 19p for a roll of wrapping paper. OK, not the best quality in the world, but acceptable for something that will be torn off in a hurry!

I got some of their Smart price wrapping paper - only 13p for 2 metres and it was surprisingly quite good quality.0
