is there anywhere now that you can take your video games into and get actual money back for them instead of just credit for instore?? i have loads of ps3, xbox360 wii and dsi games that i want to get rid of but dont actually have the time to list them all on ebay or amazon and the game shops near me are all independant small shops so only offer credit for instore use which is no good to me since i no longer have my games consoles..

game and hmv give cashback but i think Cash Exchange is the best if you have one local to you, also asda do trade in for store credit which could prove useful for your shopping0

HMV & Blockbuster that I know of.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Gadget show did a segment on this a while back - conclusion was, look around as there are places who pay better. I've used CEX in the past though and they pay pretty well so maybe give them a go?0

HMV, Blockbuster, Game, Gamestation, CEX, Cash Generator. They all pay pretty badly though, I know it takes a bit longer to list on Ebay/Amazon but I've found it's definately worth it for the extra you can get.0

I know you didnt want credit but tescos are really good. I took four wii games to game and they offered me £14 (£4 due to a special deal) credit and £6 cash. I went to tesco and they offered me £14 for 2 games (the other two werent on the system -they were older/cheap games) They are really good. And if you shop in tesco youve saved money.0

They give you terrible offers at nearly every store. For example they'll give you a £2 for a game they can sell the next day for £20. You are better off selling all of them in one go in ebay.0

I think Asda are the best,i give my kids the money and use the credit for my shopping as i shop there anyway.Id tried selling some at game, gamestation and grainger games but asda definetely gave more,in some cases quite a lot more!Havent tried Tesco yet though, will have to as i shop there too!0

They offer cash and ive used them before - they took a couple of weeks to get the payment to me from when i sent the games but offered twice what my local game shop offered in cash so was happy..0 -
Alternatively, you could put them on eBay, but put them into lots of 5 or 6 games at a time - much less typing etc to do then!0
