Looking for an idea...

Hi,

Unfortunately I've had to drop out of uni and defer a year due to ill health. I have returned to my parent's house and I'm a bit worried about money! As I'm not very well I can't really get a job :( I have a 5 hour part time job, which I get about £160 a month for, but this is my only income and all I can manage really. With no student loan support now, I need some moneymaking ideas and I'm not very good with these things! Anybody got any helpful tips or ideas? I was thinking the internet could be the key?

Many thanks in advance! :)

Liam

I thought that the Internet might be the key as well. After 16 years of trying to exploit it, I'm making the grand sum of about £20 a month.

Might be worth trying something else, maybe.

    Good morning guys

Have either of you tried slice the pie? To be totally honest I haven't even checked if its still about but that was a good fun way to make money. Onepoll is also an easy way but it takes a little while (in terms of days) but the payments tend to be pretty good for the surveys.

I am pretty certain that if you are really putting in any effort then you should be able to earn more than £20 a month on your first month of trying. Just look around these forums, try mylot maybe (paid to post) or try something like paid to click. I am thinking of starting a venture along these lines, if I ever do I shall come back to you and provide you with the info to make a few extra pennies. Remember that as long it doesnt take a lot of effort and you get paid then its a start and you can work out what is worth it after a few weeks of trying.
  • Have you tried party planning or mystery shopping? Maybe become a rep for Avon, Betterware etc you could easily get around to putting a few catalogues on peoples doorsteps. What about maybe taking an internship? Usually they turn into jobs.
