Married persons allowance

My husband is unsure whether he has informed the tax office that he is married! Can someone tell me whether his payslip would show whether he is claiming the Married Persons Tax Allowance?

    not strictly true, if one of the partners in the marriage was born before April 6th 1935 then it is applicable.
