    Welshy

How many other H&B vouchers did you get away with??? I love hearing about your successes, I'm trapped at home with the little ones and no chance of getting to Tesco until OH is back from being away on work next Sunday......so I'm getting withdrawal symptoms!!!!

    Roll on Sunday week!!!!

I am sure you do , but can you please confirm that they don't just knock £5 off your bill for no toiletries purchase. Also how do the health and beauty vouchers work? I haven't tried any of those out.
    Thanks
  • There is a thread about these vouchers: but this is what I do

Buy £20 of toiletries on bogof - making £10 to pay - use 2 x £2.50 vouchers and 5 x £1 vouchers - leaving nothing to pay then I use the £5 toiletry voucher which means that in effect the £5.00 comes off any other shopping I have. When I do this I pick up a cd or dvd and then have the £5 off that instead. I also used 10 x 50 points vouchers so I get

£20 worth of toiletries for free, gain 500 points and have £5 off my other shopping.

This means that I hand over 18 vouchers in one transaction which the SAs have accepted the majority of the time.

I haven't tried not using the voucher without buying toiletries yet as I have several combinations of the vouchers to use up and they expire on 24/12 so only 13 days to go !

The health and beauty vouchers can be found at tescos pharmacy counters or sometimes customer services.

The booklet has 1 x £2.50 off a £10 spend voucher, 1 x £1.00 off a £4 spend voucher, 1 x 50 point voucher for £2 spend on toiletries and 2 other vouchers for healthcare items and hair dye.

    Thanks Welshy, I'm really impressed!
  • I can confirm that the £5 off voucher (with £20 tolietries spend) does NOT knock £5 off a regular, non-tolietries, £20 basket of groceries. I just tried it out and the till beeped a "No-No" to the cashier. She was kind enough to swap it for a second Daily Mail book voucher instead.
  • Do loo rolls come under tolietries?
