Weekend Break?

I'm thinking about a relaxing weekend away and trying to decide which of the following to hotels to stay in:

Radisson, Limavady
Beach Hotel, Downings
Radisson, Letterkenny
Killyhevlin, Enniskillen
Best Western Milford Inn, Letterkenny

Anyone got any opinions?

I've only stayed in the Radisson Limavady and Killyhevlin. Both excellent. Radisson just shades it... lucky you

Depends on what sort of a break you want? Radisson Hotels and Killyhevlin are close to fairly big towns, whereas Beach Hotel is way out in the sticks but a lovely place. The Milford Inn is on the Letterkenny Road, Milford and quite a bit away from Letterkenny.

What about the Manor House hotel http://www.manor-house-hotel.com/ ?

and yes I am jealous.......... Just kidding Have a great time!

I would avoid The Manor House, gets a lot of wedding business and can be very noisy at nights. Last time I stayed there we had a lakeview room, top floor, seems there is a ventilation problem in that block with the leisure centre on the ground floor. Bedrooms were hot and very humid, whole bedroom block smelt of swimming pool and even with windows open, the inside of double glazing was streaming with condensation. Room was dirty and dusty with lots of black mould round the windows and wallpaper peeling off. You could literally write your name in the dust on the wardrobe shelves, all very tacky and poor housekeeping standards. Wont be back.

The Radisson Limavady is excellent but maybe a bit too isolated, the Killyhevlin is brilliant with more to do around the lakes etc...and it has an outdoor jacuzzi!!! Enjoy.. ;)

We couldn't decide between the Radisson Limavady and the Beach Hotel ... so we booked a night in each. That way we can walk on a Donegal beach one day and relax in the spa the next!!

Thanks for your advice everyone. Now, where did I put my bikini?!

We have stayed in the Radisson Limavady, it was excellent, and been regulars at the Killyhevlin and the Manor House, food at the Manor House is excellent too!

The only hotel I would never go back to is the Carlton Redcastle (Donegal) thanks to a week spent in hospital after it!
DJWW - cos we won't let it!
