Got it in an email....

I had applied for the two month membership offer previously, which has now expired. Good price to renew for a whole year.

"Join the club for a whole 12 months, for just... #29.95 (normally £69.95)... A saving of £40!"

Ends Friday 27th May @ Midnight...

Hope it helps someone.

If you want an even better price than this, go on ebay.

I got a 12 month Tastecard for a buy it now price of £1.50 or £1.99 (cant quite remember )including p&p.

The seller had lots of them.

I ordered on 10th May and the card came through last week and its a genuine card and works and everything.

There are various buy it nows on e-bay for a 12 month Tastecard at around this price.

    Hey

As I said in the bottom of my post, the link is as it appears in the email I received. I am not too sure, how to event spot if it is a referral link, or if it is one.

I've used ebay to get one too. Think mine was around the £3 mark and is great buy! Definately worth it at that price!

Look for the sellers selling the cards for £2 BIN with BO. I got mine by making them a best offer at £1.70 with free postage that was auto-accepted. HTH
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

The ones on ebay seem to be from the pay as you go mobile phone offer. The codes to get the cards need redeeming in the next 2 months.

Get one quick! I bought one for £1.50.

Will the card be accepted at restaurants without a name printed
On it? My free trial had my name on it. Has anyone had any
    Problems with the eBay ones?

Update : just bought one on eBay - I get it now, they send you a code
To register for a year. Thanks everyone, I was almost going
    To pay £29.99!!

    Hi

Does anyone know if there is any restriction buying these via Ebay? I am already an existing customer with Tastecard on an annual renewal at £29.99 but if I can save further money by buying on Ebay - I want to do that but I don't want to run the risk of being barred if I do. Your comments would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
