on superscrimpers hey made a brass cleaner with salt flour and white vinegar to clean brass,does anyone know if brown vinegar will do?

I'm sure that it would but do be careful what sort of brass you are cleaning - don't use this on laquered brass and do make sure that the salt is dissolved in the vinegar before you make a paste with the flour or you'll scratch the brass.0
