I have a pair of leather tan boots (brought ages ago!) but i havent got anything to go with them!
I have thought about dyeing them dark brown so they will be more wearable.
Has anyone got any advise/experience and what should I use?
Thanks

Can work well - depends on the type of leather. I think Dylon do one (someone does one in a blue box, anyway), which I've used before and it's worked well. However, as you're actually only changing it from a light to a dark version of the same colour, I would suggest trying Lidl's dark brown polish (a little plastic jar with a clear lid). It's a bit pongy, but the coverage is fab. You need to sort of dab it on with the sponge, kind of like stencilling, rather then rubbing it, and you'll probably need about 3 coats, but it might well work. My husband changed his (very light) tan shoes to brown with that, and I changed a pair of brown ones to black.0

You could try it - just be sure it's what you want to do, because once you start, it'll be difficult to return the boots to tan. It does depend on how much pigment is in the polish as to how much coverage you'll get, but try 3 coats and see how you go.0
