I had two of these emails this morning, as well. I am wondering whose database has been hacked to get the email addresses? When I googled, someone else who had the same mail thought it might be Amazon.0

I have received five of these emails to two different email accounts. Have other people who have received these spam emails been customers of the on-line book retailer "The Book Depository"?
Both of my affected email accounts (and no others out of a number I have) have been used with this retailer and one of them has had little use elsewhere. Obviously co-incidence cannot be ruled out....0 -

I've received spam email today from this company & I have ordered books recently from "The Book Depository" via Amazon.
I wouldn't have made the link with that company though, as I've ordered a lot of stuff over the past few weeks from several similar companies.
I automatically assumed it was spam, that or a rubbish HR department who can't construct a decent letter or spell!0 -
I had one but i do not recall having ordered from the book depositry recently, they also got my name wrong..so it can't be Amazon either.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
