I bought a whoopsie pork joint in Tesco today and slapped it straight in the slow cooker but it is honking:eek:
Never had this problem before so am not sure if there is any comeback or do you take your chances buying meat that is going out of date - cost nearly £5.

If it smells bad i wouldn't risk eating it, but not sure about comeback on it, the sell by dates are usually on the safe side (The chicken we used for our pasta salad tomorrow was use by 16th, but the packet didn't smell so cooked it anyway.)Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

I think you should get your money back though as it was still in date when you bought it.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -

You don't take your chances, if a shop sells food for human consumption it must be fit for human consumption. If it's not, go and get your money back. If the CS is reluctant you give you a refund tell them you will be presenting the pork to the relevant authorities to get a second opinion on whether it is fit for human consumption.0 -
