Free £5 Tesco voucher when you buy Sat and Sun Scottish Daily Mail

Options
Free £5 Tesco voucher when you register two unique codes found in Saturday and Sunday's Daily Mail with the Mail rewards club.

Unfortunately I don't know how much the Scottish Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday cost as I never read them, but if you do read them then this is a nice freebie, if not, the voucher is probably worth more than the cost of two newspapers anyway...

It looks as if you have to buy the Saturday Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday for 4 weeks as you require 7 out of 8 numbers to get the Gold Award which is the majority of them. Good deal for £5 off Tesco and other shops or 2-course meal at Pizza Express or Free ticket to Vue cinemas which are £8 for adults in Edinburgh as I've just checked this out so I presume that is the normal prices everywhere. If you normally buy the papers it is worth registering at the above site and get the rewards. We buy it Mon-Sat and it's 50p (WHSmith gave out promotional vouchers last week to buy from last Monday for half price of 25p for one month so they might still be giving these away) so might buy it for 4 weeks on the Sunday. Not sure if it's £1 or more on the Sunday but at £4 it could be worth double or more as I'm sure Pizza express would be more than £8 for a 2-course meal. Thanks JohnV and I hope I have got this right.

I'm slightly confused with this offer. The information I read from the Daily Mail rewards site explained it the way I listed it (I think!). It looks as if for only 2 numbers the £5 voucher will be issued for Tesco. Can anyone else work it out clearer?

i think you have to buy one paper on saturday and one on sunday to qualify for the £5 Tesco

** i wonder if they have put a clause on it so folk can't buy say 7 paper on one day to claim all the best rewards

As far as the £5 voucher is concerned it seems pretty straightforward to me... buy the Mail on Saturday, buy the mail on Sunday, input the two codes upon registering at the above website, receive the voucher.

Sorry I have no idea if it applies to British Daily Mail - the website says Scottish, but I don't know if that is because it is auto-detecting that I am in Scotland, or if it really is only for Scottish readers... Try clicking on the link, and if it still says Scottish, then I guess it is Scotland only.

here's the answer to your question:

'The Mail on Sunday's new rewards scheme will offer various benefits to frequent readers. Readers who pay £2.30, the combined price of the Saturday issue of the Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday, will be entitled to a range of benefits, such as a £5 Tesco voucher. Similar benefits will be offered by other commercial partners.
A raft of commercial partners involved in the scheme include many of the biggest names on the high street: Tesco; Morrisons; Waitrose; John Lewis; BP; Boots; Sainsbury's; WHSmith; Pizza Express; Vue Cinemas; Odeon; Cineworld and Merlin Entertainments.
The initiative was unveiled yesterday to the country's media planners by Marcus Rich, deputy managing director, John Teal, commercial director, and Roland Agambar, chief marketing officer across Associated & Northcliffe.
The marketing initiative has been driven by The Mail on Sunday's ongoing attempts to shift away from its other promotions such as covermounts and CD giveaways, which have been a staple of the newspaper for many years.
The scheme is initially being rolled out in Scotland this week, ahead of an expected rollout in England.
Consumers who want to sign up to the scheme can visit a Mail Online microsite.
In April, The Mail on Sunday registered a circulation of 1,944,434, down 2.37% on the year.'
