Are you paying too much for generic medicines?

I don't know if this has ever been covered here before, but while looking for some information for another thread in the forum I came across the Dept of Health website which gives a list of the maximum prices legally allowed to be charged in the UK for generic medicines.
I'm not sure what the procedure would be in reporting pharmacies/supermarkets etc if you found them to be over-charging for these products, but it's certainly worth checking out what you are actually paying.

With this table it only relates to the maximum that the nhs can be charged for a prescription item. The only thing that efforts how much is charged for over the counter medicines is how much the competition charge and how much people are willing to pay.My Motto in Life:
